The Brief
Blackhouse is an extension of Guadalajaran culture, where its founder grew up, melted right into the Western spirit of the Midwest.
The brand needed to carry that spirit authentically, without feeling forced.
The hand-painted sign tradition of Guadalajara, reinterpreted as a modular identity system built to be broken into pieces and put back together again.

The Signatures
The most intricate components of the system. These signature marks are designed to be used decoratively and at large scales.
The Outcome
Blackhouse is comfortably nested in a venue that didn't have to work for it to fit in.
From corduroy hats, vinyl stickers, and custom stamped paper boxes in the brand's color palette, Blackhouse brought its pre-existing community into a new one—creating a hybrid-community space that feels natural, warm, and visually stunning.
